Departmental Structure
The TAMU Police Department is more than meets the eye! Beyond the officers you see on patrol, a network of specialized divisions and sections works tirelessly behind the scenes. Uncover the roles and responsibilities of these unique units, and learn how they work together to secure Aggieland.
The Field Operations Division is divided into the Patrol and Criminal Investigations Sections, with several units supporting the roles of these sections.
The Support Services Division is divided into four sections: Personnel Recruiting and Training, Special Operations, Records and Evidence and Police Communications.
The Security, Compliance and Professional Standards Division ensures our operations uphold the highest ethical and professional standards.
