Alive at 25 Defensive Driving
Alive at 25 is a Defensive Driving Course designed for drivers under 25. While not offered through UPD at the moment, students and young drivers interested in signing up or learning more about the program can click below. I would say we should keep it as a resource for students and young drivers.
To sign up, select your preferred class location under "Upcoming Events." Click "Sign up now!" and complete the online registration form.
The cost of the course is $50.
Child Car Seat Installations and Safety Checks
This program offers child safety resources to parents or legal guardians regarding child car seats and ensuring proper installation. Appointments are highly recommended.
EZ Child ID
This digital fingerprinting child identification system provides parents or legal guardians with a USB containing their child's fingerprints, photos, and other essential information if a child is reported missing. Appointments are required for this service.
The USB used and given to parents/guardians in the EZ Child ID program contains unique information that identifies each child, which parents can access in the event a child is reported lost or missing. In other words, parents/guardians receive an ID Card for each child, which helps identify them.
Safety Assessments
We conduct thorough evaluations of workplaces to identify situations or processes that may pose safety risks.
Engraving
Engraving is a process in which an officer uses a tool to etch identification numbers, such as your driver's license number, onto your property. This process allows police to positively identify property as yours if it is reported lost or stolen. Engraving services are available throughout the school year at various events and can be accessed anytime at UPD.
